Due to the pandemic, 2020 was the year of ER Champ (r)evolution. First of all, the name changed from Poland Escape to ER Champ. The championship itself has expanded its horizons - no longer just the Polish championship, but the world championship. We changed the format to be able to adjust to the world situation.

The ER Champ 2020 competition was held entirely online. It consisted of two stages - qualifications and finals. Due to the online form of the competition, many non-Polish speaking teams were able to participate. The plot was related to the Sekurex company, whose CEO hired testers to check the latest security features, and the players' goal was to break them in the shortest possible time.
The qualifications determined the top 100 teams, who faced each other in the finals. In the end, for the first time in the history of the competition, the entire podium was filled by teams not from Poland. This confirmed our belief that we had made good decisions. The winners came from Canada, Japan, and the United States.

Lockme office
Stress test is a short, 10-minute game that allowed us to test the power of our servers. This stage was prepared by Hanna and Tomasz - Lockme employees, and the game itself takes place in a room resembling the Lockme office.

Server failure
You follow the story of a young server administrator who has to overcome and fix a system failure - otherwise the qualifications for the Escape Room World Championship may not take place. The game is full of plot twists and humor that will amuse even the most serious players. The stage is relatively long, but its level of difficulty is quite moderate.

Secrets of Sekurex
This is the first-ever ER Champ online competition final. It's a spinoff of the story from the qualifications this year. You must sneak into Sekurex's headquarters to stress test their security. Ahead of you is a relatively short but challenging stage. The world champions solved it in less than 50 minutes.
